2017 Concerto Movement Competition

The Palo Alto Philharmonic held a 2017 Concerto Movement Competition, similar to our highly successful CMC Family Concerts in 2015, 2013, 2011, 2009, 2006, and 2003. This competition was open to school-aged music students including both instrumentalists and vocalists.

The purpose of the competition was to recognize outstanding talent and provide an invaluable learning and performing experience for all applicants. The Competition was underwritten by J. W. & H. M. Goodman.

All winners appeared in concert, accompanied by the Palo Alto Philharmonic Orchestra, at our Family Concert at 3pm on Sunday afternoon, May 21, 2017, at the Cubberley Theatre in Palo Alto.
